As such, applicants must be able to work varying hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Hidden Valley Golf Course is open from dawn to dusk. Availability of work may be weather dependent. On average, this position works 24-40 hours per week. Work is directed by and performed under the general supervision of the Parks & Natural Resources Superintendent and under the immediate supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent. Cashiers may also assist in setting up special events or pairing players on the tee in order to best fully utilize the course, at the direction of the Clubhouse Manager. They will refer complaints and suggestions to the Clubhouse Manager in order to maintain good public relations. Cashiers will be responsible for greeting customers and assisting them by providing information, answering questions and providing information on procedures and policies of the golf course. In addition cashiers will be responsible for the cleanliness of the clubhouse (restrooms, concession and shop area), for operating the food concession, serving food to customers and for performing minor clerical functions such as answering phones and maintaining records. Nature of Work, Essential Functions & KSA'sĪ cashier for the Hidden Valley Golf Course will be primarily responsible for collecting fees related to the business of the golf course (greens fees, membership fees, equipment rental fees and other charges for the use of golf course facilities and concessions) for issuing receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers and collecting range balls.
